Tips for a Success Deployment Season
Make sure your TCM meters are good to go!
Domino for Windows
Windows Users - Get the latest version of Domino from our website.
Mac Users - We have discontinued our Beta Mac version as it doesn't play nice with the newer MacOS and new processors. As an alternative, we have done testing using BootCamp (Intel processor) and limited testing on Parallels (M1 processor) with good success. When a meter is plugged into the USB port for the first time it can take up to a few minutes for the logger to be recognized - be patient!
Time to Replace your Battery?
The most valuable part of your deployment is THE DATA! Don't let a questionable battery ruin your season!

- Battery Life Estimates - Depending on your settings, this will give you a rough estimate of how long a battery should last.
Exercise your Meter
Wait what?! Time for you TCM to hit the treadmill for 24 hours!
Why? When not is use, Lithium batteries are known for building up passivation which is a temporary build-up of resistance in the battery that prolongs its storage life, but it reduces peak currents.
This step is important for serial numbers that are lower than 2006000. See Steps 14 through 17 here.
Reset your Meter
Sometimes we all need a do over! If your meter isn't interacting with Domino correctly, try doing a reset on the meter.
Antifouling Paint
We mainly use the Trilux-33 spray paint because it is easier to apply than using a paint with a brush. Check out our paint instructions here. You can using a Scotch-Brite Heavy Duty Scour Pad or 220 grit sand paper to smooth out any paint chips.
The Trilux-33 can typically be purchased at most marine supply stores.
