FOUNDER AND PRESIDENT
Nick has extensive experience in the field of electronics, data loggers and environmental monitoring. He worked at Onset Computer Corporation for over 13 years, first as an electrical engineer and then rising to become the Director of Engineering with a staff of 35 engineers and technicians. At Onset, Nick was the project manager for a wide variety of indoor and outdoor data loggers and wireless devices including weather stations and indoor and outdoor data loggers. Nick left Onset in 2012 to start Lowell Instruments, LLC.
Nick holds two undergraduate degrees in engineering from Dartmouth College ('93 & '94), a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northwestern University ('97) and a Masters in Business Administration from Boston University ('10). Nick is the president and general manager of Lowell Instruments.
Jeff has been the software application developer for Lowell Instruments since 2013. He specializes in oceanographic data acquisition, processing, and analysis using MATLAB and Python. When Jeff is not writing software, he can be found on the trails, training for his next ultra-marathon.

Sung Bin Park
Sung Bin hails from New York City where she worked in the language services industry and in various capacities of writing and editing. She currently handles technical writing, content writing for the website, manages social media for Lowell Instruments and performs administrative tasks. Sung Bin studied Sustainability at Pratt Institute's Graduate Center for Planning & the Environment and promotes compost education in schools. She is a freelancer for local publications, The Falmouth Enterprise and Simply Falmouth. Science stories continually fascinate her as she is most eager to learn about how scientists are helping to solve complex issues that affect the environment.
Joaquim has been involved with embedded programming most of his life. He has successfully developed and implemented biometric and RFID access systems, low-power wireless radios and protocols and electronic designs featuring ultra-low current consumption microcontrollers for both private companies and research institutions.
Pete recently retired after 46 years at Accusonic Technologies (formerly ORE Inc.) where he wore many hats including President and Chief Engineer. Pete developed many of Accusonic's most successful products including travel-time current meters and underwater acoustic tracking systems. Pete assists Lowell Instruments with the engineering design and testing of the products as well as setting the strategic direction of Lowell Instruments.
Rob is the founder of the Zephyr Educational Foundation, a non-profit educational program in Woods Hole, MA. The foundation performs oceanographic experiments using professional quality oceanographic gear with high school students. Prior to finding Zephyr, Rob founded TG&B Marine Services and worked with Pete Lowell at Accusonic Technologies where he was the general manager. Rob provides advice regarding sales and marketing at Lowell Instruments.
Domino was adopted from Shultz's Guest House. As the top dog at Lowell Instruments, she acts as both a greeter and watchdog. She currently has her own corner of the office where she snacks on rawhide treats and provides comic relief with her canine antics.
