FOUNDER AND PRESIDENT
Nick Lowell
Nick has extensive experience in the field of electronics, data loggers and environmental monitoring. He worked at Onset Computer Corporation for over 13 years, first as an electrical engineer and then rising to become the Director of Engineering with a staff of 35 engineers and technicians. At Onset, Nick was the project manager for a wide variety of indoor and outdoor data loggers and wireless devices including weather stations and indoor and outdoor data loggers. Nick left Onset in 2012 to start Lowell Instruments, LLC.
Nick holds two undergraduate degrees in engineering from Dartmouth College ('93 & '94), a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northwestern University ('97) and a Masters in Business Administration from Boston University ('10). Nick is the president and general manager of Lowell Instruments.

Jeff Grant
Jeff has been the software application developer for Lowell Instruments since 2013. He specializes in oceanographic data acquisition, processing, and analysis using MATLAB and Python. When Jeff is not writing software, he can be found on the trails, training for his next ultra-marathon.

Scott Ellis
Scott joined Lowell Instruments in November of 2021 as our Sales & Marketing Coordinator. He spent 24 years at Onset Computer Corporation in a few roles. Scott spent 12 years as a Senior Sales Application Specialist to help guide customers find the correct data logging products for their application. He also spent 12 years as a Product Marketing Manager where he helped define the product road map, bring new products from concept to market and conducted training webinars for internal sales teams, world-wide distributor network and customers.
ADVISER
Rob Reynolds
Rob is the founder of the Zephyr Educational Foundation, a non-profit educational program in Woods Hole, MA. The foundation performs oceanographic experiments using professional quality oceanographic gear with high school students. Prior to finding Zephyr, Rob founded TG&B Marine Services and worked with Pete Lowell at Accusonic Technologies where he was the general manager. Rob provides advice regarding sales and marketing at Lowell Instruments.
SAFETY OFFICER
Domino
Domino was adopted from Shultz's Guest House. As the top dog at Lowell Instruments, she acts as both a greeter and watchdog. She currently has her own corner of the office where she snacks on rawhide treats and provides comic relief with her canine antics.
